You talk. The Master listens. Then asks one question. Not to figure you out. Because the act of answering changes what you see.
Thoughts emerge that wouldn't exist without that question. Things you couldn't reach alone, because it took someone asking at the right moment.
If you repeat what everyone says, the Master asks what you think. If you explain what happened, the Master asks what you felt. If you stay comfortable, the Master won't.
Not because it's harsh. Because you came here to go deeper.
This is not a 5-minute check-in. This is 40 minutes with yourself. The kind of conversation where somewhere in the middle, you say something out loud that you didn't know you were thinking.
That moment can't be given from the outside. It can only come from within. But sometimes it takes a conversation to get there.
